I have delivered Nutrition and Cooking incursions in schools such as Falcon Primary School, Riverside Primary School, Ocean Road Primary School, Mandurah Primary School and several schools in regional WA, in Newman, Kununurra, Marble Bar, Halls Creek, Bunbury, Nannup, Ravensthorpe and Esperance.
Description of Content
Incursion content is based upon the Australian Guide to Healthy Eating, with each session delivering accurate Nutrition information using language and examples relevant to each year group. These lesson plans link to the Australian Curriculum in the areas of: English, Mathematics, Health and Physical Education.
I have developed a range of age-appropriate Nutrition activities and am happy to liaise with the teacher/s of each class to select an activity that covers new content for their class or that complements existing course content for that term.
